A rather tall blue haired man was walking towards the river, he seemed to battered and bruised all over, as if he had just came fresh from a fight. In truth, that was almost exactly what happened, he was just comming from the nearby village, where he got into a fight just becouse someone shoved him just to be annoying, he caused a massive village brawl but managed to get outta the village before the police got there.
He got to the edge of the river and sat down with his legs crossed indian style, his golden eyes looking down at the water blankly with no emotion. The reason why he came here was becouse...well...he has anger issues, mainly the reason for that fight in the village, and this place, always managed to calm him down, this place was calm and full of peacefull life, just what he needed to cool down, at least for a little while.

(aww...Thanks Max  ) Some little way down the river though still in his view, on the same bank as him, sat a girl. Her legs were in the water, as she looked up at the sky. Her dark brown eyes, looking up curiously at the sky. Or rather the cloud that was slowly drifting over the blue above. The girl seemed no older then 18, and from the looks of it, has never been to this region of the planet before. Her eyes curiously wondered to everything that was in sight, almost as if taking everything in. How ever, she has not noticed him yet, since he was a bit up stream from her at the moment. Her blonde hair moved over her soft features in the light breeze of the afternoon, ruffing her clothing as well. |

Max just kept staring at the water for a while but then when the wind blew he sighed, relaxing and cooling down finally, not feeling the urge to kick a kitten. He was still all bruised and sore all over, but he didnt really mind. He then blinked when he thought he noticed someone not to far away to his right.
He turned his head and looked at the girl, he blinked "......" 'What in the....I thought I came here and no one was around...' he sighed 'wow...I really need to be more observant'

The girl how ever, was still oblivious to her surroundings as she smiled, looking around, splashing her legs in the water a little, as she sat on the grass. But, to be honest, she had a hobby of being rather oblivious to everything around her. Though, she has found it eather to be ignorant, then to beat your head against the wall when you don't understand something, that you know you should.

Max blinked, looking at the woman "....." 'Damn...she's one hell of a looker....-HUH!??' he then puched both sides of his head at the same time, and started grining his knuckles into the sides of his head 'I did NOT just think that!' he yelled at himself in his mind, He then stood up, intending to leave before he things of something even more emberassing, but then, unfortunetly, to his bad luck, he tripped over his feet, and fell face first into the river, creating a huge splash. That was enough to make him mad again, he climbed out of the water, Shaking his body, getting most of the water off him "Grrr..."

The girl's head snapped up, as she turned it in the diraction wher the commotion was coming from. Noticing, the man in the water...or rather now out of it, but still drenched in it, she chuckled softly to herself, quickly concealing the smile as she stood up. Brushing the grass off of her rear end a little she looked over at him. Waving her hand in the end she called out.
"Hey! You alright?"

Max snapped his head in the direction he heard the woman talking "Huh?...yeah yeah, Im alright...just a little soggy..." he said, sounding a bit iritated, this was a problem, every time something went wrong, he got ticked off so badly, he might kill some one just for the sake of venting his anger

"Er...Ok...um...Are you sure? You're not hurt or anything. Are you?"She called out to him again. Her voice a llittle quieter, then before, as she seemed to recoil a little at the tone of his voice, and his posture, or movements ratehr. She knew, that when people were irritated, moving their attention away from the subject, was not always the best idea to do, sometimes they would just go off on you.

Max's eye twitched "Yeah Im sure IM A-OK" he said, getting really annoyed at her for perfectly no reason. He then tried rinsing out his hair "Stupid....grr....why not just cut it...argh....too lazy..." he muttered to himself, he really seemed unstable, but then he just gave up on trying to rinse his clothes "ARGH!" he just spun around angrily and fell on his back, putting his hands behind his head

She jumped a little, choosing to back out of this little exchange of words, seeing that the guy was...not in the mood...She sighed, sherugging a little as she pulled her boots back on, before silently starting to walk down the current of the river, slowly vanishing from his sight among the trees. She honestly didn't want to get into a conflict, especially if her competition was twise as big as her and in the bad mood.

Max sneezed, and then looked at the girl, he sat up "Erm...I wouldnt go in that direction If I was you...if you continue going that way you'll find yourself at a spot where panthers and lions go to get a drink from the lake..." he said

Imidiatly the girl stoped, slowly churning around on her heels as she looked over at him.
"Lions and panthers? Here?"She asked weakly, looking over at him. That...she didn't expect...Hell, she didn't even know those animals lived anywhere near here...but that's the disadventage of coming to a new place, you never know what' happening.

Max sighed, sitting up and looking at her "What did you fall from the sky or something?" he asked, looking at her like he was staring at some sort of retard "This is the River of Life, Key word being "LIFE" " he said "Theres practicaly every type of animal here, from rabbits to lions, they dont eat each other...but if some idiot girl wearing a skirt that looks like a belt thats missing its bottom half happens to stumble across, the lions wont mind getting a bite to eat."

"Hey!"She called out glaring at him. "I happen to like this skirt...and besides, what makes you think that I can't defend myself, if one happens to choose to attack me for no apperent reason?"She asked, crossing her arms on her chest.

Max looked at her making a 'your kidding, right?' face "....lesse...your really small...you weigh...I dunno...less than 100 pounds....and you dont exactly look all that strong...now lets say a tiger....its at least 8 feet long...weighs about 1500 pounds...and has razor sharp claws and teeth...and theres always more than one walking around...." he said "Yeah...I dont think I need to answer the odds of you comming out alive..."
