Kar lived secluded from the rest of the world due the geography of the country. Kar lays isnide a mountain range that completly sorounds the island continent.
Kar had always been a peaceful place, ruled by a king or queen that was always loved by the rest of the people. They lived by the Chims of the Gods which were small song like verses that explained what life should be like.
They lived like this until the 1220 Queen took the throne, doing away with the Chim of Race, which seperated people do to there race. There was little fight about it, except for the first attempt on her life but the National Guard took care of it. The National Guard was Kar, police and Army and did a fairly good job of keeping the fighting down until the second and fatal attack on her life.
She died and Kar went into Chaos. For years they had no ruler, eventually the people broke into two groups, the ones who wanted to live by the Race's Chime, and those who stood for equality.
After years and years of civil war a man stepped out of the shadows and claimed the throne.
It seemed as though he was a god send, until the restrictions on the races grew, forcing the Race's Chime to perfection.
Soon he began to take control of all the Karian villages, forcing the "lower ones" into slavery. Eventually he gained complete control.
Now the Karians sit and hope from the Chosen of Whim and the Sacred of the gods.
